Courtyard Art Gallery - Chetek, Wisc.

The Art Gallery in downtown Chetek, Wisconsin is one of three shops located within the Courtyard patio destination. Jitters is the anchor coffee and ice cream shop with espresso bar, wireless Internet access and seating for lunch or socialization. Annz Boutique & Books offers unique gifts, books, clothing and the only children’s section for miles. If you are in Chetek, include the Courtyard on your destination list. Browse local art, have a shot of espresso and grab something for the kids.

Josh Banks offers photography of the Chetek area in the Gallery. Josh grew up in Chetek and is well acquainted with the lakes and secret hiding spots for animals. Josh offers a great selection of professional lab printed photos and high quality local area postcards. In 2010 we will be expanding the line of photos offering some never before seen images from the area.

Josh’s Chetek area postcards are also available at the Calhoun Museum across the street to the north and the Rod & Gun sport shop to the west. The Calhoun Museum is another worthy stop and is packed with local relics, including a wood Chetek boat, Indian artifacts, war memorabilia and more. The museum is funded solely on public support, so while you are there toss a dollar or two in the donation box or purchase a postcard which proceeds go to the museum.
